Le Pain Quotidien

We came across this wonderful restaurant while on 3rd Street Promenade, Santa Monica (on a side street near TOWER RECORDS).

Its a Belgian/French place with really good bread and sandwiches -- tastes like real food! A novel feature is the great big communal table running right down the middle of the restaurant - very trendy and Euro-feeling.

We subsequently visited the other LA location in West Hollywood - almost in the shadow of the Pacific Design Center - near "Elixir" Teas
