These gentlemen have been quietly (as in not getting a lot of airplay or column inches) making wonderful classical rock (not "classic rock"!) for the last 25 years or so. The term "Progressive" could be applied to The Enid's music, but this tag only begins to decribe where the music goes. Think romantic (almost "light") classical music, with a non-clunky rock beat, overlaid with slightly ethereal, earnest male vocals. Its not everybody's cup of tea, but certainly has a bigger market than they are currently serving.

Look them up....... and when you do, ask when they are going to be ready with the long overdue new album.
