Pasta Pomodoro Italian Restaurant

This is the best Italian restaurant to reach Irvine for a long time. Its a chain but in the best sense of the word. i.e. consistent.... but in this case... consistently good. Great food, trendy dark lighting/decor and the prices are (maybe even too) low.

If there's two of you, might I humbly recommend sharing....

A bowl of the "tortellini soup" followed by "Malfadine" and the "Penne Portobello".

If you go at lunchtime, there's a nice blue cheese side salad included too.
